Graphic Design is just not a career choice for me it’s a passion. I am dedicated to producing quality design, and am well versed in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator programs. I have an acute perception for detailed design elements and principals. I have a passion for fine art including drawing and painting. I am skilled in Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop. I use Illustrator to create logo designs and branding. Indesign has helped me create beautiful magazine layouts, stationary, and collateral pieces. Photoshop allows me to manipulate images with color adjustments, preloaded action files, and brushes. It is used to create graphic and web based projects.
Bud’s is a local embroidery shop in San Antonio, where they specialize screen printing and embroidery. They wanted a simple design that captured their specialty areas. The logo represents the needle and thread showing that it is a embroidery store, and embracing the simplicity of how it is done. Shiner Bock, one of Texas’s most popular beers wanted to see an out of the box advertisement of their brand. I created an advertisement for Shiner Bock. The background is an image of wood and toned down with hues of yellow. Using their famous typography which was incorporated into the ad. The logo was etched into the wood by taking out the fill and using only outlines. The design is crisp and refreshing just like the beer itself.Advertising
Great Zeus is a Greek themed yoga design that was created for a client, who had the perception of the powerful Zeus and incorporating a power yoga technique. The pillars symbolize Greek architecture and the stability of the foundation, which is the core value in yoga. This is a classy yet modern engagement invitation. Neutral color schemes such as grey and crèmes were used. The bubbles in the champagne glass represent the fall season in a creative way. The black was used to represent the man and the crème to represent the woman. The ribbon scroll unifies the invitation and brings everything together.Stationary
Keller Williams is a well-known real estate agency where I was approached by a Realtor to customize his logo, so that he can stand out in the market. The door concept is simple and to the point. We want to help you find the perfect home and it is the entrance to a new beginning. The door symbolizes how a new home is a start to a new adventure. I created a 24-page magazine about the Indian culture. I used my cousin and her wedding as the main focal point of this magazine. The table of contents was created differently by adding an elephant that is relevant to the Indian culture. Elephants are significantly important to Hindu’s because it is one of their Gods. I took the same elephant on the table of contents and followed it through by making them into page numbers.Layout Design, Publication Design
The playing cards were based on a T.V. show called Mad Men. I kept the theme colors red, black, and white. I created silhouettes of the main four characters and each character had 13 cards each. The front of the cards have a silhouette image of New York City and the Mad Men logo. The women have the red cards while the men have black cards.Layout Design, Package Design
The objective was to create a unique brochure. I created two column pages with image and logo. The logo on every page was on the bottom. The color scheme I chose was orange, yellow, and green. I also used some neutral colors such as brown and crème. When showing the image I would keep the bigger images toned down and had a circular image inside in full color. Fiesta Verde was an event created for the Autism Treatment Center of Northern Texas. It was a special event hosted for fundraising for the patients. The concept behind Fiesta Verde is a party like gathering where people get together and have a good time. The color scheme that is being used are shades of green and oranges to represent “verde” which means green is Spanish and the orange because it was a contrasting color. Stand desk is an inductor concept to a new office lifestyle. Why sit at a desk for 8 hours when you can have the best of both worlds. A conceptual advertisement was created to promote the new item at Ikea. The pop up banners were created to capture the attention of the average shopper by applying a calm color scheme promoting a healthy alternative to your work life.Branding, Advertising
When you think of a Zen garden, one would think it must be a botanical garden with a twist of yoga. Zen garden is a website that offers training and guidance of CSS/HTML coding. The theme of Zen garden is to offer a pleasant training platform without all the over whelming concept of coding. The theme of my website flows with the idea behind Zen garden’s mission statement. The flower provides a calm inviting experience as you enter the site. The Galapagos Islands were born from volcanos that were violently erupting in the sea. The island became Ecuador’s first national park in 1959, and is aggressively-protected because the giant tortoise and marine iguanas are the islands national animals. The two column layout was chosen to keep it clean and informative. The blue represents the ocean surrounding the ocean and orange is a contrasting color representing the island atmosphere of being hot and humid. This was a project based on sustainability. My partner and I came up with the idea to create an edible checkers game out of graham crackers, fruit roll ups, icing, marshmallows and chocolate. The package is made from chipboard. Everything you see is edible and biodegradable. The question is: Would you purchase this for your children?Package Design
